From daily news to national and international discussions exploring the biggest challenges of the day –we’ve got you covered in 2024. Will you be here for Aspen Public Radio?
In the year ahead, we need your financial support for:
our local newsroom of community-based reporters who will continue to cover government affairs, education, arts & culture, climate, health & wellness, and provide the impact and context you need to participate in the 2024 elections, producing coverage that is accessible and engaging, so you can make informed decisions;
our continued commitment to providing local news and information in Spanish, as part of a coalition here in the Roaring Fork Valley working to collaboratively do more together;
our radio broadcast tower on Smuggler Mountain, a key infrastructure project with work already underway to make this critical project happen in 2024;
more public events, live broadcasts, and expanded access to more community conversations, including by our newest partners: ACES, Aspen U Speaker Series, and Resnick Center for Herbert Bayer Studies;
- and new regional efforts focused on emergency preparedness so Aspen Public Radio is ready to respond to any critical real-time emergency in our community like a wildfire, major flooding, or any incident when you need immediate information in order to keep safe.
