Penney Evans Carruth

Penney Evans Carruth’s community involvement ranges from her roles as president of Aspen Valley Ski/Snowboard Club (AVSC) to Mayoral candidate for the City of Aspen. She has served as the chairman of the Financial Advisory Board for Pitkin County and served two terms as the president of the Aspen Board of Realtors. She served as chairman for the campaign to build the AVSC Club House. She is currently a Business Advisor at the University of Wyoming and a member of the steering committee for the “Securing Our Future” campaign.

Penney has a deep Colorado heritage; her grandmother was born in Aspen and her parents owned a ranch in Carbondale. She moved to Aspen to raise her kids in 1974 and began her real estate career shortly after moving. She lives with her husband, Dennis Carruth, and their blended family of five is their pride and joy. Her family’s interests include skiing, soccer, hiking, kite surfing, mountain biking and golf. Her passion is yoga, and she and Dennis have a strong affection for dogs!
