Aspen Art Museum’s winter show launched last week with the unveiling of a sculpture that sits outside the building’s front doors. Claire Woodcock paid a visit to the sidewalk gallery and spoke with onlookers and passersby.
The new sculpture is called "moonrise. east. july." New York based artist UgoRondinone created it in 2006. The sculpture will be on display outside the museum through May, along with five additional exhibitions inside the museum, opening in mid-December.
