Aspen Filmfest starts today and runs all this week. The event includes screenings of feature-length films and documentaries, as well as panel discussions. Films are shown in Aspen and Carbondale.
The duo Rising Appalachia brings their mix of gospel, bluegrass, folk and soul to the Belly Up in Aspen on Friday. Sway Wild opens. Doors are at 8:30 p.m.
The Arts Campus at Willits presents the Taylor Scott Band on Friday for an outdoor concert on Market Street in the Willits Town Center. The tunes start at 6 p.m.
