Basalt town politics are still causing controversy; this time with an elected official lobbying her colleagues outside of the public eye.

Meanwhile, there is a three-way race for mayor in Carbondale. At the center of their campaigns is the safety of residents.

In Aspen, a man pleaded guilty to DUI and vehicular assault after lying to a jury and the court during his multi-day trial.

Also, developers who were hoping to build a Four Seasons hotel in a quiet Aspen neighborhood pulled their plans.
