Valley Roundup, March 31, 2017

Welcome to Valley Roundup. I’m Carolyn Sackariason.

Aspen City Councilman Bert Myrin and mayor Steve Skadron sparred during a public meeting this week over an gallery lease that the government controls. Policy or politics?

Garfield County is laying out the welcome mat for tiny homes.

In Glenwood Springs, the Grand Avenue pedestrian bridge is behind schedule.

And, the battle continues in Battlement Mesa to keep natural gas drilling farther away from schools. A new law has passed the state house and now goes to a vote in the senate.

My guests this week are Carla Jean Whitley of the Glenwood Post Independent, Elizabeth Milias, author of the Red Ant blog and Aspen Daily News columnist Paul Menter.

Valley Roundup is a production of Aspen Public Radio news.
