Allison Katz Closing Reception
The Aspen Art Museum is hosting a closing reception for the exhibit “In the House of the Trembling Eye,” staged by Allison Katz, for members of the Aspen Art Museum. Members will experience a curator-led walkthrough of the exhibition, as well as drinks on the roof. The exhibition features Katz’s own work, as well as works from 50 other artists and fragments of frescoes from Pompeii. It’s meant to connect the past and the present, and how the spaces we inhabit impact our point of view. The reception goes from 6 to 8 p-m.
