This week, the Aspen Historical Society is inviting the community to gather in honor of Robert Chamberlain, a renowned local photographer and artist, who passed away in 2024. Bob donated his collection of Aspen photography to the historical society in 2017 and an additional portion of his vast photographic collection through his estate. Bob documented life in the area since 1958, from hippie culture to modern-day ski racing, artfully capturing the pulse of the community for decades. The event is free on Thursday from 4-6pm at the Wheeler/Stallard Museum.
