The city of Aspen is hosting a s'mores and family afternoon to celebrate the New Year at Sister Cities Plaza downtown from 1 to 3 p.m. There is free ice skating at the Aspen Ice Garden from 3 to 6 p.m. and the evening will end with fireworks at 8 p.m. on Aspen Mountain.
