Wild Perspectives Lecture: “Dirt, Water Snow: A Woman’s Journey to Self through Nature” Madeline Werner

Wild Perspectives Lecture: “Dirt, Water Snow: A Woman’s Journey to Self through Nature” Madeline Werner

From thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, skiing volcanoes in Ecuador, backpacking through Peru, and rafting the Grand Canyon, Madeline has tasted the power of the wild and its propensity to heal, challenge, and inspire. Guided by thought-leading naturalists including Dolores LaChapelle, Joanna Macy, and Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Madeline has approached her geographic and intrapersonal travels through the lenses of biospheric egalitarianism and deep ecology. Join her in reflecting on these life-affirming adventures that connect her to the mysteries of the natural world and her place in it.
