Sam McBride

Sam McBride is the founder and principal of COLTER VENTURES, an investor, advisor, and board member for consumer and consumer tech companies.

McBride was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Sales Officer of RXBAR from 2014 to 2019 helping grow RXBAR into a successful and widely recognized brand, eventually leading to its acquisition by Kellogg. Prior to RXBAR, McBride helped build LiveWatch, a direct-to-consumer home security company before its acquisition by Brinks in 2015. McBride has been a member of the Board of Directors at Kettle & Fire, MUSH, Four Sigmatic, and Minor Figures.

McBride’s passion for the outdoors brought him to Aspen part-time in 2017 and full-time in 2020 with his wife, Caroline, and their three boys James, Beck, and Porter.
