Welcome to another week in the Roaring Fork Valley! This is Week in the Arts, a curated list of upcoming exhibitions and events.

The Red Brick Center for the Arts's current exhibition, "Artists at the Intersection," is availabe for online viewing. The 30-minute gallery walk-through includes a detailed look at the art on display, and videos of the artists at work. It can be viewed here

Thunder River Theatre Company's ThunderStream provides a compliation of free performances spanning comedy to cabaret online. New videos are added regularly and can be streamed here on YouTube.

The Aspen Art Museum's ongoing series "Slow.Look.Live" continues this week. Anderson Ranch Arts Center's director of artistic programs, Andrea Jenkins Wallace, will be on hand to discuss the Snowmass Village art campus's new virtual offerings. Each week's discussion can be viewed live on Aspen Art Museum's Instagram feed at 4 p.m. every Friday.  

Another virtual escape is London's British Museum, where a timeline of artifacts from the museum's collection can be viewed, even from your own couch. 

Kirsten was born and raised in Massachusetts, and has called Colorado home since 2008. She moved to Vail the day after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2011. Before relocating to Basalt in 2020, she also spent a year living in one of Aspen’s sister cities, Queenstown, New Zealand.
