The annual Aspen Laugh Festival starts tomorrow, with lots of live comedy shows taking place at the Wheeler Opera House, Silver City Saloon and Limelight Lounge. The event runs through Saturday.
Friday, the Aspen Art Museum hosts a Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon, part of a national event that pushes to add more entries on female figures in the art world to the online encyclopedia. Community members can bring laptops and museum staff will be on-hand to help. The event starts at 11 a.m
Also Friday, Arthur Miller’s Tony award-winner “A View from the Bridge” begins its run at Carbondale’s Thunder River Theatre. Performances start at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings. The show runs through March 7.
