Related Co. announced today that it will not be selling the Base Village project to Vail-based company East West Partners and KSL Capital.
In a press release, Related underscored its ability to fund the Base Village development and meet the timeline it is bound to through negotiations with Snowmass Village Town Council.
The company plans to continue as the master developer for the project which includes residential and commercial space, a Limelight Hotel and public amenities.
Plans to break ground on the Brush Creek Roundabout are set for spring of 2016 while the core components of Base Village are set for completion in 2018.
Related is scheduled to appear in front of Snowmass Village Town Council on Monday to get final approvals. The project has been stalled for years.
