Today I am joined in the studio with Amanda Rae Busch, columnist for the Aspen Times Weekly and her editor Jeanne McGovern. Also with us is Aspen Daily News columnist Beth Brandon and her editor, Madeleine Osberger.
We are talking about women’s role in the media and how it can empower others. In the case of Beth and Amanda, both are victims of abuse. But as we have learned by reading their newspaper columns over the years, they are much more than that.
Last month both women took brave and bold steps by sharing with the public their experiences and how they healed from such a horrific time in their lives. Beth and Amanda’s decision to go public was made separately but are here together on Valley Roundup.
