Shahbaz Taseer talks about time in captivity

Hal Williams

Shahbaz Taseer, a businessman and the son of the former Governor of Punjab, Pakistan, was kidnapped by the Taliban and spent nearly five years in captivity.

He was released in March. Taseer spoke with Silbi Stanton, the founder of Marshall Direct Fund, a local nonprofit organization that invests in education and women’s economic empowerment in Pakistan, at a benefit in Aspen last week.
