The Lake Christine Fire has grown over the past several days, all on National Forest land. It now covers nearly 11,500 acres and is 32 percent contained.
The drop in containment is only because the fire is bigger. It does not mean the parts of the fire crews have already contained have been lost.
Crews on Monday will continue to fight the fire on all sides -- especially to the west, to make sure it doesn't spread to Missouri Heights.
People living in Missouri Heights, Upper Cattle Creek Road, and miles one through seven of Frying Pan Road are still on pre-evacuation notice.
