Wyatt Orme brings updates from the Garfield County Courthouse in Glenwood Springs, where there are still 5,000 ballots left to count. Elizabeth Stewart-Severy analyzes state ballot questions.
Update: 9:35 p.m. Preliminary results for the Colorado State House District 26 race point to Dylan Roberts being re-elected. That district includes Eagle and Routt counties. Roberts, the incumbent Democrat, received 60% of the vote, with Republican challenger Nicki Mills receiving 36%, and unaffiliated candidate Luke Bray receiving 2%.
Update: 9:22 p.m. Alycin Bektesh spoke to Zoe Rom about preliminary results from Pitkin County.
Update: 8:55 p.m. Reporter Wyatt Orme is at the Garfield County Republicans' watch party at the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs with Bob Rankin, who represents Colorado District 57.
Update: 8:43 p.m. : Eagle County is reporting preliminary results in its county commissioner race. Democratic incumbent Jeanne McQueeney has received 62 percent of the vote, with Republican challenger Jacqueline Cartier receiving 37 percent.
Reporter Christin Kay spoke with McQueeney earlier this hour about representing Roaring Fork Valley residents and her approach to the divisive issue of development in Eagle County.

Eagle county is reporting preliminary results that current commissioner Jeanne McQueeney retains her seat, winning 62 percent of the vote.

She spoke with Alycin Bektesh about what issues voters said were at the forefront of their minds this midterm election, everything from the valley’s fire districts, Proposition 112 and the Trump administration.
