RFTA's (New And Improved) Offseason Schedule Starts

Roaring Fork Transit Authority

On Monday, the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) returns to its off-season schedule. In the past, this has meant fewer buses and less service, but this year, it’s different.

Unlike previous offseasons, RFTA will run its express bus route, the BRT service, on weekends and the Carbondale Circulator bus will run seven days a week.

These increases in service are thanks to the property tax passed in the fall.

Some services will decrease: The Grand Hogback Route, which connects Rifle and Glenwood Springs, will have limited weekend service.

Aspen’s Crosstown and Galena Shuttle service go on hiatus until the summer.
