Colorado Mountain College (CMC) is hosting six graduations over the next several days, for its students from Aspen to Rifle.
The graduates have earned bachelor’s and associate’s degrees; some are ready to become nurses and police officers.
On Thursday afternoon, 19 cadets will graduate from the Colorado Law Enforcement Training Academy at the Spring Valley Campus in Glenwood Springs. All have been hired for law enforcement jobs in Colorado, some as close as the Carbondale Police Department.
The associate’s and bachelor’s graduation ceremonies are Saturday and one of the guest speakers is Dr. Bryan Hannegan, CEO and President of Holy Cross Energy.
