The repertory season of Theatre Aspen came to an end last week, but the group will now try out new works.
The first reading of the play “The Agent” by Scott Martin will debut tonight as part of Theatre Aspen’s festival of new works.
The company will also be showing a new musical this Friday, called “Finn the Fearless.” The plot follows a boy named Finn, who fears nothing, as he ventures out into the world to figure out what scares him.
Though new productions have been a part of the company’s past seasons, this is the first time the series has been formally known as the Aspen Theatre Festival.
Some roles will be performed by actors from the Valley.
