After some construction delays, the Cooking School of Aspen has a few classes under its belt. Rob Ittner, the owner of Rustique Bistro and the school, said the feedback he’s receiving is great.
Though the classes haven’t all been full, Ittner said he thinks it’s only a matter of time before people start gravitating to the school.
Ittner has already received calls about hosting private events for the spring and summer. Those were the types of events Ittner said the venue was designed for.
Another common refrain from Ittner is that he is adding another entertainment opportunity to a town full of them.
“It just adds a new element to types of elements and things that people can do,” Ittner said
.
The school has two classes on Tuesday teaching Indian and Moroccan cuisines.
