Week In The Arts: Feb. 10 - 16, 2020

Colorado Mountain College

Welcome to another week in the Roaring Fork Valley! This is Week in the Arts, a curated list of upcoming exhibitions and events.

"Passages," a mixed media show, will open at the Aspen Chapel Gallery on Wednesday. It features work from the gallery curators and invited guest artists.  The show is in partnership with Pathfinders and is in honor of community member Rita Hunter. A reception for the artists begins at 5 p.m.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Sopris Theatre Company at Colorado Mountain College Spring Valley presents “Private Eyes.” The play follows the twists and turns of couples acting in a play themselves. Performances start at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

Saturday, the Marianne Boesky Gallery in Aspen presents “Fallout,” an exhibition of works by artists Jennifer Bartlett, Yayoi Kusama and Atsuko Tanaka. An opening reception starts at 5 p.m. The show is on display through April.
