Week In The Arts: July 13-19, 2020

Anderson Ranch Arts Center

This is Week in the Arts—a curation of virtual events, exhibits and reopenings around the Roaring Fork Valley.

Aspen Historical Society’s museums are officially reopened to the public. One hour each day is reserved for seniors from 12 to 1 p.m. More information can be found on the organization’s website.

Aspen’s first Ride & Dine of the season kicks off on Wednesday. Cyclists depart from the lower gondola plaza and ride to Mad Dog Ranch, where they’ll find live music and a dinner prepared by chefs from the Little Nell. Other Ride & Dine events will be held August 5, and September 15.

Anderson Ranch Arts Center hosts its Un-Gala on Thursday. The Snowmass Village art facility’s annual fundraiser is completely virtual this year. Tickets are available on its website.

Kirsten was born and raised in Massachusetts, and has called Colorado home since 2008. She moved to Vail the day after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2011. Before relocating to Basalt in 2020, she also spent a year living in one of Aspen’s sister cities, Queenstown, New Zealand.
