The Aspen Art Museum is hosting socially distanced Halloween festivities on Friday, Oct. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 31 at 5 p.m., and the museum is screening the Halloween film “Hocus Pocus” as part of the event. More information about reservations can be found at the museum’s website.
Carbondale Arts has two new exhibitions on display at the R2 Gallery; "Saipor” is artist Chris Hassig’s fictional mapmaking project, and “Shadow Entanglements” features work by artists Jim Harris and Vanessa Porras. The gallery is open for in-person viewing, and each collection can also be viewed virtually at the Carbondale Arts website.
The Basalt Regional Library hosts an outdoor, drive-in screening of “Ghostbusters” on Friday night. The show will start after dusk, and more information can be found at the Basalt Library’s website.
