The Aspen Thrift Shop’s annual Art Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 9 at the Red Brick Center for the Arts. A sneak preview with no purchasing or reserving is set for 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, August 8. A number of items are for sale and in silent auction, including rare pieces by artists Tom Benton, Richard Carter and more. Items include designer clothing, bags and shoes, vintage and antique items and collectables, jewelry, textiles and books and framed art. A few items are available for bidding through a silent auction. All proceeds will go to the Aspen Thrift Shop’s grants to valley nonprofits and to a scholarship program.
