Colorado Snow and Avalanche Workshop
The Colorado Avalanche Information Center is hosting its 23rd annual Colorado Snow and Avalanche Workshop. The event brings together avalanche industry workers and advanced recreationists for a day of learning. This year’s topics include the impact of wildfires on avalanches, uncertainty in backcountry forecasts, airbag effectiveness, and wet slab avalanche cycles. The workshop will take place in Breckenridge on October 18th. Early bird registration is available online now, for $35. On October 1, the price goes up to $45.
