"The Burlingame Early Childcare Center is featured in the newly published Creating the Regenerative School. Ford Architects, design architect for the project, wrote an international realized survey book of best practices in designing early childhood through 12th grade learning environments. The book features the unbuilt Aspen Burlingame project as an example of design for the full range of neurological, social, and physical development of children, in addition to climate responsibility. The Burlingame Early Childhood Education Center project is published as an example of architecture for wellness of users and responsibility to the broader environment. You’ll hear from Alan Ford of Ford Architects and Andi Korber, principal of Land+Shelter, about the project and its significance in the community in this engaging and focused discussion, centered around Creating the Regenerative School.”
The Carbondale Family Block Party is an annual family-friendly event to celebrate spring and welcome summer. In addition to great local food, music produced by valley youth, and activities for kids of all ages, this has become a platform for various non-profit organizations in our valley whose mission is to support kids, family, and inclusion to showcase their offerings and volunteer opportunities.
Proceeds from the event will go back to the community and benefit valley youth and family organizations and programming, as well as one of the valley’s premier animal shelters.
