The Pitkin County Board of Commissioners voted in the first of two hearings to approve the expansion of Aspen Mountain’s ski resort into the Pandora’s area. But Aspen Skiing Co. is not in the clear yet. Final approval requires another vote Oct. 13 to expand the ski area by 153 acres off the northeast side of Richmond Ridge.
