Lauri was born and raised in West Texas. After graduating with a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, Lauri explored Europe, Thailand, and South America; developing an insatiable appetite for travel and learning about new cultures. While visiting a college friend in Aspen, she immediately fell in love with the valley and its community. Paradise found!
Her professional experience includes account management for an e-commerce website in Austin and managing a medical clinic in Aspen for many years. Lauri has volunteered at local non-profits, including English in Action and coordinated the Hope for Haiti music benefit raising funds for hurricane victims.
