Melinda Payson

The beginning was in California where I was born into a very mobile Navy family, hence, we moved every two years including all the major Naval bases in this country plus two years in Japan. On to UCLA to earn a BS, MS, and teaching credential. Teaching took place in Manhattan Beach, CA, at the University of Idaho, and UCLA.

Public Radio has always been a passion and I served on the Board of New Hampshire Public Radio, volunteered at Vermont Public Radio, and am now honored to serve on the Board of Aspen Public Radio. Also serving on the Board of Aspen Santa Fe Ballet is a privilege as well.

We have had a home in the Upper Valley since 1985, enjoyed the abundant gifts these spectacular mountains have to offer, and ardently support many nonprofits throughout the valley. The gifts most treasured are two daughters and three grandchildren.
