Carbondale Talks Transportation

Carbondale’s Board of Trustees discusses the future of the town’s transportation Tuesday evening. They want to make it easier for people to get around without their cars.

The town is considering a variety of projects. One is to bring the upper-valley’s bicycle-sharing program, WE-Cycle, to town.

Other ideas include building an underpass that goes below Highway 82 to Red Hill.

The town wants to suss out which projects are feasible, and the steps needed to accomplish them.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at Town Hall.
