Week In The Arts: August 10-16, 2020

The Wheeler/Stallard Museum. Aspen Historical Society's exhibit "Decade by Decade: Aspen Revealed" is currently on display at the museum.

This is Week In The Arts—a curation of virtual events, exhibits and reopenings around the Roaring Fork Valley.

Singer-songwriter Matt Beilis joins Wheeler Opera House as its virtual artist in residence this week. The musician will be performing live online concerts on Wednesday (August 12) and Thursday (August 13). 

 

Buttermilk Drive-In Movies continue with “Almost Famous” on Wednesday, August 12, and “Jurassic Park” on Saturday, August 15. Tickets can be purchased online.

 

Aspen Historical Society’s exhibit “Decade by Decade: Aspen Revealed” is now open to the public at the Wheeler/Stallard Museum. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday each week.

 

 

Kirsten was born and raised in Massachusetts, and has called Colorado home since 2008. She moved to Vail the day after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2011. Before relocating to Basalt in 2020, she also spent a year living in one of Aspen’s sister cities, Queenstown, New Zealand.
