Week In The Arts: July 1 - 7, 2019

Welcome to another week in the Roaring Fork Valley! This is Week in the Arts, a curated list of upcoming exhibitions and events.

Tuesday, the Redstone Castle hosts a historical musical review called “The Osgood Years.” The show details the life and times of Redstone founder J.C. Osgood. The show begins at 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday, a special dance performance called “The Hikers” will be presented at the Aspen Art Museum. The newly commissioned work responds to Rashid Johnson’s visual art, currently on display. Performances are at 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.

Saturday, the Aspen Chapel celebrates its 50th anniversary with a special concert inspired by the chapel’s architecture and history.  The program includes music from the church’s pipe organ, the largest on the Western Slope, and by the Aspen Chapel Choir. The performance begins at 4 p.m.
