Week In The Arts: March 2 - 8, 2020

The Collective

Welcome to another week in the Roaring Fork Valley! This is Week in the Arts, a curated list of upcoming exhibitions and events.

The Aspen Historical Society presents the final "Time Travel Tuesday" event this week. The University of Northern Colorado theatre department will present selections from “The Mother of Us All,” a historical opera about the life of Susan B. Anthony. The show starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Wheeler Opera House.

Friday, two new exhibits open at the R2 Gallery in Carbondale.  “Clever” includes works from Elizabeth Morisette, who uses recycled and repurposed materials. It opens alongside Aspen-born artist Andrew Rice’s exhibition “Accessed (means of entry).” An opening reception begins at 6 p.m.

Sunday, local comedy improv troupe Consensual Improv! performs at The Collective in Snowmass Base Village. The show starts at 1 p.m.
