Wednesday, the Aspen Art Museum screens “Skate Kitchen,” about a group of female skateboarders in New York City. It’s a part of the Movies at the Museum series. The film begins at 7 p.m.
Thursday, author Luis Jaramillo reads and discusses his fiction with local screenwriter Scott Lasser at Hooch Craft Cocktail bar. Jaramillo is this month’s Aspen Words Writer in Residence. The event starts at 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, international reggae artist Nattali Rize and her band come to the Belly Up. The group aims to deliver high-energy and uplifting live performances. Doors open at 8 p.m.
