Week In The Arts: October 14 - 20, 2019

Welcome to another week in the Roaring Fork Valley! This is Week in the Arts, a curated list of upcoming exhibitions and events.

The "4 Rivers Biennial" exhibition has work from artists from the Roaring Fork, Frying Pan, Crystal and Colorado river watersheds. It opens Wednesday at the Aspen Chapel Gallery. An artists’ reception starts at 5, and attendees can vote for their favorite piece.  

Thursday, Abraham Cruzvillegas’s interactive exhibition “Hi, how are you, Gonzo?” opens at the Aspen Art Museum. The opening includes a gallery walkthrough and art activities, and starts at 5:30 p.m. 

Saturday is the annual Fiesta de Tamalesat Basalt High School, with live music, drawings and more than 1,200 homemade tamales. The event, sponsored by English In Action, begins at 5 p.m.
