Thursday, comedian Demetri Martin performs at the Wheeler Opera House. He works his guitar, cartoons and drawings into his deadpan routine. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Also Thursday, the Red Brick Center for the Arts in Aspen holds an opening reception for the new show "To Behold," which showcases the work of four local photographers. The reception begins at 5 p.m. The exhibit runs through the end of October.
Saturday, the Carbondale Clay Center hosts “Tacos On Plates.” Attendees receive a handmade ceramic plate crafted by a local artist with their taco dinner. The event begins at 5 p.m.
