After this morning's mudslide closed Highway 82 between Catherine Store Road and Highway 82, a car wreck diverted traffic at the Catherine Store Road intersection.According to Carbondale Rural and Fire Protection District, there was about 300 feet of mud across Highway 82 near Catherine Store Road at mile marker 14. The mud slide was due to a broken irrigation line. Traffic was diverted to County Road 100 through Carbondale, but reopened both directions around 4:30 p.m.
