The Carbondale & Rural Fire Protection District is sending out 3500 surveys, which can also be filled out online. The District says they’ll be confidential, and should take less than 10 minutes.
It’s part of the District’s effort to figure out what services people in the District care about, and what they’re willing to pay for. Voters turned down a funding measure in 2013, leaving the District strapped for cash.
