SMV switches to digital parking permits

Aspen Skiing Company

The Snowmass Town Council is set to approve a parking ordinance Monday. There will be slight name changes to the varying types of parking permits, but parking rates will remain the same. The Town of Snowmass Village now has parking software that allows for “digital permits.” Beginning Dec. 6, residents purchasing premium, limited or restricted parking passes must register their license plate number with the parking department. They will longer need a parking sticker in their window. Day skiers will still get a physical parking pass.

The council did not make any suggestions to the ordinance language on its first reading, and is expected to pass the measure at their meeting this evening.
