Pakistani students visit Carbondale

Students from Pakistan will visit the Carbondale Community School on Wednesday.

Seven students from Lahore Grammar School International will spend Wednesday afternoon touring the Community School and teaching cricket.

The Aspen non-profit Marshall Direct Fund is facilitating the exchange. It runs Global Kid Connect, a program that enables Pakistani and American students to become pen pals. Around 60 students at the Carbondale Community School are participating in the pen pal program.

Wednesday evening starting at 5 p.m., there will be a panel discussion about life in Pakistan at Ryno's in Aspen.
