The Colorado Tourism office has prioritized sustainability in it’s marketing efforts.
With continued record-setting visitor numbers to Colorado’s backcountry, the state hopes tourists will study up on conservation tactics before arriving for a visit. The state teamed up with the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, to produce an animated music video.
The jingle encourages visitors to “Care for Colorado.” The accompanying video shows a tourist carving their initials into aspen trees, and leaving fires unattended as wildlife looks on disappointed The “Are You Colo-Ready?” campaign video will debut next week.
