Beth White

Carbondale Arts’ 10th Annual Green is the New Black Fashion Extravaganza is coming up. And the non-profit is looking for models to strut their stuff.

Dancers, designers and artists will come together to celebrate a decade of productions that are both entertaining and sustainable.

The theme of this year’s show is Super-Natural and will explore forces like astronomy and dreams.

Carbondale Arts’ fashion show committee is looking for about 45 models.

Community members ages 18 to roughly 80 are encouraged to audition. This year’s fashion show takes place March 9 and 10. Auditions are Sunday, January 7 at 6 p.m. in The Launchpad.
