Theatre Aspen Launches One-Person Show Festival

Theatre Aspen is launching a new one-person show festival later this year.

The festival, called “Solo Flights,” will highlight a wide range of comedic and dramatic performances. While it will include fully-staged productions, it’s also meant to give audiences a sneak peak into works-in-progress. It will also feature talkbacks and panels.

Theatre Aspen producing director Jed Bernstein says the goal is to create a national platform for one person shows.

“Solo Flights” will take place in multiple venues in downtown Aspen in September 2019.

Theatre Aspen is currently accepting submissions for one-person shows for the festival.
