'DaVinci And Michelangelo: The Titans Experience' Looks At Creative Genius Of Italian Masters

A performance at the Temporary on Friday evening looks at the legacy of Italian masters DaVinci and Michelangelo.

"DaVinci & Michelangelo: The Titans Experience” explores the two artists' inventions and machines, as well as paintings and sculptures.

Mark Rodgers created the show and wants attendees to appreciate how many modern machines, like the bicycle, helicopter and submarine, are rooted in DaVinci's and Michelangelo’s ideas. Rodgers also wants modern audiences to come away inspired to innovate in their own lives.

"We want to really kind of inspire the creative aspect in everyone," he said.

Rodgers uses movies, videos, 3-D animations, and images in the presentation. It starts at 8 p.m.
