Tig Notaro performs at the Aspen Laugh Festival Friday. The comedian’s stand-up covers everything from raising her twin sons, to regularly being mistaken for a man, to her breast cancer diagnosis.
Notaro spoke with arts and culture reporter Christin Kay about how cancer changed her perspective and about her new project, "First Ladies." Notaro wrote the soon-to-be-released Netflix comedy with her wife and writing partner, Stephanie Allynne.
Notaro takes the stage at the Wheeler Opera House on Friday at 9:30 p.m.
