Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday Celebration at Snowmass Village. There is no shortage of fun happenings in the village for Mardi Gras this year! From dawn into the evening, join for the festivities. Costumes are welcomed and encouraged!

Mother of All Ascensions: 7:00amGrab your snowshoes, alpine touring gear, stabilizers, and/or split boards and head to Snowmass Base Village on Tuesday, March 4th, to compete in the infamous Mardi Gras uphill race to High Alpine Marketplace. King, Queen Walk through the Snowmass Mall to Base Village: 2:00pmFrom the Mall to Base Village, stop by to say hello to the king, queen, and their royal court as they make their way to Base Village! Snowmass will be showered in green, gold, and purple and they hand out beads, accompanied by a live brass band.

DJ Erica: 2:00pm – 3:00pmHead to the big stage in Base Village for a live set from DJ Erica and a bead toss once the parade concludes.

Kidtoons Kids’ Entertainment: 2:00pm – 4:00pmKid-friendly activities from Kidtoons will be in Base Village and on the Mall, including face painting.

Bead Toss: 3:00pm – 3:30pmStick around the stage for the bead toss once the King and Queen arrive.

Bud Light Hi Fi Concert: 3:45pm – 5:00pmStick around the main stage for the Spazmatics! A beloved 80s tribute band, the Spazmatics bring all the good vibes with their own costumes, stage presence, and 80s-style dance moves!
