Bringing plants to share?
Arrive at 3:15pm. to set up a table. Please bring healthy plants or cuttings to give away, and plan to stay for about an hour, or until your plants are shared, so you can offer care instructions to new plant owners. All plants must be given away for free. Any plants that are not shared must be taken home by the person who brought them.

Just coming to find plants?
Stop by from 3:30pm to 4:30pm to browse and bring home a new plant.

The Community Read, presented by Aspen Words and the Pitkin County Library, strives to celebrate literature, unite readers around a work of fiction, and ignite meaningful conversation on the vital social issues explored in each year's Aspen Words Literary Prize-winning novel and those nominated.

Summer month First Fridays are jam-packed with all sorts of events and happenings! Check out the Pride Parade down Main Street, the traveling drag show, patio parties, dancing in the streets, live music, and so much more!

A Changemaker Speaker Series event, A250: Portrait of a Nation welcomes Pulitzer Prize–winning photographer Deanne Fitzmaurice for a powerful illustrated talk marking America’s 250th anniversary and Colorado’s 150th. Drawing from nearly four decades as a photojournalist, Fitzmaurice reflects on defining moments of recent American history and the human stories behind them, exploring resilience, empathy, and the role of visual journalism in shaping national memory.
