May 30 Saturday
Angie, an experienced trauma therapist for refugees, has walked out of her office and into numbed seclusion afer one too many encounters with extreme suffering. While isolated at home, a spate of binge-watching leads to fascination with the band Journey and its iconic lead singer, Steve Perry, whom she believes is a reclusive kindred spirit. Motivated for the first time in months, Angie begins a correspondence with Perry, exploring and sharing about her past, her inspirations, and the relationships that brought her to this place. Like warming up from frostbite, Angie is able to feel again, emerging renewed and at peace with the darkness and light around her.
ACT is proud to announce its landmark 50th anniversary season! Kicking off with "Our Favorite Things" anniversary concert, and headlined by a magical production of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella in November 2026, join us in celebrating 50 years!
A weekend in the woods. A meeting of the family. A reluctant hunter. A mysterious corpse. To Ansen, it all sounds like a nightmare. He promised his girlfriend, Ruby, he’d pretend to enjoy it, though – so here he is, at a rustic cabin deep in the Rocky Mountains. But when another, extremely unexpected visitor arrives, suddenly he’s not the only one who needs a Xanax. Now they all must grapple with their relationships and – gasp! – actually try to understand one another as everything they thought they believed becomes as blurry as a photo of Bigfoot.
